Pasta pasta pasta

Okay first off, I'd like to just say... 1 pound of pasta is a lot of pasta. Even for me. Haha, I polished off about 4000 calories today since I plan on running a half marathon tomorrow morning before going to work (aren't I ambitious?). Needless to say, right now, I feel like an elephant... an elephant who just ate a pound of pasta. Anywho... looking at the distance I biked today, you probably assume that I'm getting lazy... or fat... or both. You'd be wrong. I'm not getting fatter (finally back on the cutting thing, not the depression driven kind mind you), and I'm not getting lazier. In fact, this morning I erg'd a 30 minute piece at 2:06. That's the kind of split I used to put up! Okay, maybe back then I was doing that kind of pacing for a 15k, but whatever, it hurt like hell, so I'm sure it was doing something. Then I tried hopping on the bike. Today was the same story as yesterday. Middle aged, borderline senior citizen, man hops on the elliptical behind my bike. Once again, horrible body odor prior to working out. I seriously don't understand how this works, do you just not shower... ever? Or is it that as soon as you walk out of the shower you start to sweat profusely from whatever it is you do in life? Ugh... the gym was my one sanctuary where I didn't have to think about anything. Now I have to strategically plan how to avoid old people who smell bad. Sometimes, I hate life.
