So yesterday, I was really hungry, but I didn't want to do more cheat meals... solution? I ate about 5000 calories entirely clean. Think several tubs of cottage cheese, about 2 pounds of pasta with meat sauce made with lean ground sirloin, and about 5 or 6 cups of oatmeal with skim milk. Yes I felt ridiculously full, but this time I didn't feel guilty. Hell, I think my macros came out to something like 400 grams of protein and 600 grams of carbs. Why would I do this, aside from satiating my hunger, you might ask? Because I really wanted to do another half marathon and see if I could hold around a 7:45 pace for the entire thing. Well, it was kind of a success? Haha, I did run around a 7:53 pace at the 10k mark, and past that I did run at a significantly faster rate for another couple of miles, but I think I ended up just holding the same average pace at the 15k mark, at which point I kind of just caved in. I stopped for a couple reasons, first, my knee started feeling weird again and I'd rather not reinjure it and be out of commission for another week, and second, my boxers were so heavy with sweat that they had difficulty staying up (lol what a crappy reason). Nope, today's fail wasn't inspired by an old perspiring man who reeks of Taipei after it rains. Today's fail was all on me.
No erging today, I forgot why I used to hate it... I have those annoying water blisters all over my fingers again. Two days, imagine that.
